Sampoerna Launches International Standard School

The school is dedicated to students and student achievement from pre-prosperous families across Indonesia.

Nenny Soemawinata, Managing Director Putera Sampoerna Foundation said there were as many as 200 students and students who have passed through stringent selection process and managed to set aside more than 1,000 registrants from all over Indonesia to get a full scholarship with a total value amounting to 3.15 million U.S. dollars from the ExxonMobil Foundation.

The male and female students selected are those that have been set aside more than 1,000 applicants from various regions in Indonesia. The selection process is divided into five stages of strict selection, the selection of documents, academic tests, psychological tests, interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), as well as home visits to prospective students (home visit).

Sampoerna Academy Bogor Campus consists of students from throughout the region in Indonesia, including Sumatra, Kalimantan, Nusa Tenggara (NTT), to West Papua. In addition, a number of students or students there are also derived from the operation of ExxonMobil, among Blora, Cepu and Bojonegoro, East Java.

Furthermore Nenny explained, Sampoerna Academy is an international education curriculum adapted from Cambridge University with a national curriculum or the Education Unit Level Curriculum (SBC).

Leonardo da Vinci was born on Apr il 15, 1452 in Vinci, Italy.  He was the illegitimate son of Ser Piero, a Florentine notary and landlord, but lived o n the estate and was treated as a legitimate son.
In 1483, Leonardo da Vinci drew the first model of a helico pter. It did not look very much like our modern day “copter,” but the idea of what it could do was about the same.

Leonardo was an artist and sculptor. He was very interested in motion and movement and tried to show it in his art. In order to show movement, he found it helpful to study the way things moved. One subject he liked to study was birds and how they flew. He spent many hours watching the birds and examining the structure of their wings. He noticed how they cupped air with their wings and how the feathers helped hold the air. Through these studies, Leonardo began to understand how birds were able to fly.

Like many other men, Leonardo began to dream of the day when people would be able to fly. He designed a machine that used all the things he had learned about flight, and thus became the first model of a helicopter.

Poor Leonardo had only one problem, however.  He had no way to give the necessary speed to his invention. You see, motors had not yet been invented and speed was an important part of the flying process. It would be another four hundred years before the engine was invented and another fifty years before it was put to the test in an airplane. Leonardo’s dream of a helicopter finally came to pass in 1936.
The Italian painter, sculptor, architect, engineer, and scientist, Leonardo died on May 2, 1519, and was buried in the cloister of San Fio rentino in Amboise.

                                                          PENDAHULUAN


1.1 Latar Belakang Masalah
Perkembangan teknologi informasi pada era globalisasi saat ini telah berkembang sangat pesat dan terkadang sulit untuk diikuti.hal ini menyebabkan manusia sebagai pelaku utama perkembangan tersebut dituntut agar selalu berusaha untuk mendapatkan informasi yang terbaru. Setiap individu mempunyai berbagai macam cara untuk mendapatkan informasi dari media yang lebih mudah dimengerti.

Perkembangan teknologi telah melahirkan suatu perangkat elektronik yang dinamakan computer sebagai salah satu media untuk mendapatkan informasi yang sangat berguna. Banyaknya informasi yang bisa didaptkan dengan mudah dari media computer. Informasi tersebut biasanya disajikan dalam bentuk multimedia, misalnya jika seseorang ingin mengetahui informasi mengenai suatu pariwisata, perusahaan, organisasi, kependudukan, pendapatan daerah dari suatu propinsi pada daerah tertentu dan banyak contoh lainya.sudah tentu orang tersebut akan lebih mudah bila informasi yang diperlukan dapat disajikan dalam bentuk gambar, suara dan animasi serta dapat terlibat langsung dalam proses pencarian informasi tersebut. Hal ini menjadikan informasi lebih menarik, mudah diserap dan dapat dimengerti.

Dengan melibatkan kenyataan tersebut, penulis mengangkat masalah diatas ke dalam penulisan ilmiah yang diberi judul “Letak Daerah Pegunungan di Pulau Jawa Beserta Informasinya Dengan menggunakan Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004

1.2 Batasan Masalah
Karena begitu banyaknya gunung yang ada di Indonesia, maka penulis membatasi penulisan ilmiah ini dengan membatasi informasi yang hanya ditunjukan untuk 28 gunung yang ada diwilayah pulau jawa saja.

1.3 Tujuan Penulisan
Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk membuat web yang nantinya
diharapkan dapat :
     1. Memberikan langkah–langkah sederhana dalam pembuatan web
         sederhana
     2. Memperkenalkan gunung yang ada dipulau jawa dengan memberikan
         informasi yang akurat dan mudah diakses oleh user
     3. Memberikan kemudahan kepada masyarakat umum dalam mencari
         informasi tentang pegunungan dipulau jawa beserta gambar gunung
         secara cepat dengan mengakses melalui internet.

1.4 Metode Penelitian
      Untuk memberikan informasi yang akurat dan actual dalam penyusunan penulisan ilmiah ini, maka digunakan metode Studi Pustaka. Pada metode ini pengetahuan yang didapat adalah dengan mempelajari Macromedia Dreamwever MX 2004 dari semua jenis buku yang memberikan informasi cara menjalankannya. Pengumpulan data juga didapat dari beberapa literature seperti buku, Koran, majalah dan juga download dari internet.
       Adapun langkah-langkah pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah pembuatan struktur navigasi, storyboard, desain tampilan wesite, proses pembuatan halaman web dan upload.

                                        LANDASAN TEORI

2.1 Internet
      Internet berasal dari kata interconnection networking yang mempunyai arti hubungan berbagai computer dengan berbagai tipe yang membentuk suatu jaringan yang mencakup seluruh komunikasi seperti telepon.
      Yang mengatur integrasi dan komunikasi jaringan computer ini adalah protocol-protokol yang umum disebut TCP/IP. TCP yang memastikan bahwa semua hubungan kerja dengan benar, sedangkan IP yang mentransmisikan data dari computer ke computer lain.
          Untuk dapat ikut serta menggunakan fasilitas internet,biasanya anda harus berlangganan kesalah satu ISP yang biasa disebut peyelenggaran jasa internet.

2.2 Sejarah Internet
      Internet awalnya merupakan suatu rencana dari Departemen Pertahanan Amerika Serikat pada sekitar tahun 60-an. Dimulai dari suatu proyek yang dinamakan ARPANET. Beberapa universitas di amerika diantaranya UCLA, Stanford UC santa Barbara dan University of Utah, diminta bantuan dalam mengerjakan proyek ini dan awalnya telah berhasil menghubungkan 4 komputer di lokasi universitas yang berbeda tersebut. Perkembangan ARPANET ini cukup pesat jika dilihat dari perkembangannya pada saat itu. Sebagai gambaranya pada tahun 1997, ARPANET telah menguhubungkan lebih dari 100 mimiframe computer dan saat ini terdapat 4 juta lebih host jaringan yang terhubung pada jaringan ini.
          Karena perkembangannya yang pesat, jaringan computer tidak lagi disebut ARPANET karena semakin banyak computer dan jaringan–jaringan regional yang terhubung. Konsep ini kemudian berkembang dan dikenal dengan konsep internetworking. Oleh karena itu istilah internet menjadi semakin popular, dan masyarakat menyebut jaringan besar computer tersebut dengan istilah internet.

2.1.2 istilah-istilah pada internet
         Ada beberapa istilah yang sering digunakan apabila anda bekerja dengan internet, diantaranya yaitu :

a. www (World Wide Web)
    salah satu layanan dari internet dalah WWW, layanan yang cukup baru dikembangkan dalam internet dan menjadi layanan aplikasi yang popular digunakan pemakai jaringan internet dan perkembanganya terus dilakukan sampai saat ini untuk menyempurnakan teknologi ini. www atau bisa disebut web saja, bekerja dengan menggunakan teknologi yang disebut hypertext.
    Dengan menggunakan WWW, pengaksesan berbagai informasi diinternet misalnya ghoper, mail dan sebagainya.

b. web site
    merupakan tempat informasi dengan berdasarkan topic tertentu. Dimisalkan situs web ini sebagai sebuah buku yang berisi suatu topic tertentu.

c. web page
    Website merupakan salah satu layanan yang ditawarkan oleh internet diantara layanan-layanan lainnya. Website adalah hompepage dimana homepage adalah halaman awal sebuah domain.

d. web server
    Web server merupakan software yang memberikan layanan data yang berfungsi menerima permintaan HTTP atau HTTPSdari klien yang dikenal dengan browser web dan mengirimkan kembali hasilnya dalam bentuk halaman - halaman web yang umumnya berbentuk dokumen HTML

e. URL
    adalah rangkaian karakter menurut suatu format standar tertentu, yang digunakan untuk menunjukkan alamat suatu sumber.
adalah singkatan dari Uniform Resource Locators yang berarti suatu “pathname” untuk mengidentifikasi sebuah dokumen di web. Didalam URL terdapat informasi nama mesin/host (dalam hal ini komputer) yang akan diakses, nama dokumen beserta logical pathnamenya serta jenis protokol yang akan digunakan untuk melakukan akses ke web. 

f. Hyperlink
   adalah cara untuk menghubungkan suatu bagian dalam slide, file, program, atau halaman web dengan bagian lainnya dalam bidang-bidang tersebut. Hyperlink digunakan untuk menunjukan lokasi lain dari dari teks atau objek yang dipresentasikan. Hyperlink dapat menghubungkan beberapa dokumen, file, objek, aplikasi, halaman web dan sebagainya.

2.2 HTML
      HTML (HyperText Mark up Language) merupakan suatu metoda untuk mengimplementasikan konsep hypertext dalam suatu naskah atau dokumen. HTML sendiri bukan tergolong pada suatu bahasa pemrograman karena sifatnya yang hanya memberikan tanda (marking up) pada suatu naskah teks dan bukan sebagai program.

Berdasarkan kata-kata penyusunnya HTML dapat diartikan lebih dalam lagi menjadi :

Hypertext
Link hypertext adalah kata atau frase yang dapat menunjukkan hubungan suatu naskah dokumen dengan naskah-naskah lainnya. Jika kita klik pada kata atau frase untuk mengikuti link ini maka web browser akan memindahkan tampilan pada bagian lain dari naskah atau dokumen yang kita tuju.

Markup
Pada pengertiannya di sini markup menunjukkan bahwa pada file HTML berisi suatu intruksi tertentu yang dapat memberikan suatu format pada dokumen yang akan ditampilkan pada World Wide Web.

Language
Meski HTML sendiri bukan merupakan bahasa pemrograman, HTML merupakan kumpulan dari beberapa instruksi yang dapat digunakan untuk mengubah-ubah format suatu naskah atau dokumen

Dreamweaver juga menyediakan tools yang sangat membantu meningkatkan pengalaman dalam pembuatan web yang powerfull. 4.1 kesimpulan
      Dreamweaver MX 2004 membantu memudahkan pembuatan website secara dinamis. Dreamweaver Mx 2004 telah dibuat dengan user interface dan struktur menu yang sangat membantu pemakai sehingga dapat memudahkan user membuat halaman-halaman HTML sama cepatnya seperti menggunakan sebuah program pengolahan kata yang modern.
      Website ini dibuat dengan sederhana dengan tambahan variasi animasi yang dibuat dengan SWISHmax sebagai banner. Untuk aplikasi pengolahan gambar, penulis menggunakan photoshop 7.0 dari Adobe.
      Struktur navigasi yang digunakan pada Website ini adalah struktur navigasi campuran.
       Dengan adanya website ini, user dapat terbantu dalam mendapatkan informasi tentang gunung yang ada dipulau jawa, tanpa harus pergi langsung kedaerah pegunungan tersebut. Informasi yang disajikan pada website ini yaitu ketinggian gunung, status gunung aktif atau tidak aktif.
